Screwdriver Function Module (SFM)

At the forefront of machine-building components is DEPRAG's Screwdriving Function Module or SFM.  These robust, German-engineered modules allow for easy integration into a larger machine and can even be customized for specific applications to meet your needs.  A large torque range for both single- and multi-spindle units are available.  The SFM can be equipped with any DEPRAG screwdriver.  

The SFM allows for multiple fastening executions to include:

• Horizontal or vertical screwdriving
• Limited space access
• Vertical, inverted assembly
• Difficult access or recessed screw locations from any assembly direction
• Defined pick-positions
• Automatic feeding and assembly of nuts

SFM with Magazine 

Any DEPRAG screwdriver can be paired with a Screwdriver Function Module. Combining the SFM with an EC-screwdriving system allows for complete data processing including angle and torque values and the status of screw-depth and screw-reloading.

Stroke variations are adaptable to fit your application.

• Stroke variant A: without screwfeeding; with pre-positioned screws
• Stroke variant B: automatic screw presentation with a feed system
• Stroke variant C: robotic application with automatic screwfeeding through a feed system
• Stroke variant D: fixtured application with automatic screwfeeding through a feed system
