The particular strength of the MICROMAT spindle – hardly larger than a ballpoint pen – is in its very low torque capability of 2 Ncm (3 in-oz) to 70 Ncm (6.2 in-lb). This screwdriver is not only able to drive screws, it can even adjust threaded connections.
The extraordinary construction quality of the slender MICROMAT spindle and its capability to sustain heavy use in an industrial environment assures extremely high uptime.
The MICROMAT achieves its high torque accuracy through use of the proven DEPRAG disengagement- and shut-off clutch. Use of our specially designed shut-off clutch ensures a torque accuracy ≤ 3% standard deviation, independent of the screw joint. In many cases and under suitable conditions, it is possible to achieve an even higher torque accuracy and a Cmk value ≥ 1.67 (at a tolerance of 15%). This type of accuracy essentially translates to an error rate of less than 0.6 per one million fastening cycles. To increase processing reliability even further, it is possible to additionally control the screw-depth and the shut-off of the screwdriver.
DEPRAG screwdriver spindles are easy to integrate, typically with very small mounting dimensions.
Hardly larger than a ballpoint pen, MICROMAT fixtured spindles offer excellent torque accuracy for a multitude of industrial applications.
